Organization Structure

Hillcrest Children’s Center has proudly served the Anchorage community since 1968. Originally established as a parent-owned nonprofit corporation known as Hillcrest Day Care Center, Inc., we have consistently dedicated ourselves to providing quality early childhood development and educational programs. In May 1994, we transitioned to our current name, Hillcrest Children’s Center. As a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the tax code, all donations to Hillcrest are tax-deductible.

All parents are invited and welcomed at Board of Directors Meetings, typically held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 5:30 – 6:30PM. Childcare and dinner for attendees and children is provided for every board meeting.

Parents are encouraged to participate in shaping Hillcrest’s policies and direction. If you have a topic for discussion, please submit it to the Director or a Board Member by the Friday before the meeting.
